EOTC surfing day again

I went to taupo bay with the year five and six seniors to do some more surfing with pro surf acamedy adults and had so much fun!!!

Reflection:On this day I shot my highscore for standing on waves with the help from a freind and it was 45!!! but I also wanted a beautiful weather through the whole day but hadent been delivered.

Hi I made a little slide to share one of my favourite time in the holiday.

Reflection:Well making my presentation I had fun writing my favourite part of my holiday,and wish nothing to change

On google sheet I made a online graph with picture graphs on the side,I used Metservice to get the information of how much high and low temeratures on each day.

Reflection:I enjoyed writing down the temperature information,but wish to change the first picture graph.

Fraction/decimal/persentages number line

 WALT:Make connections between decimals,persentages and fractions

We wrote a number line with decimals,persentages and fratcions by making lines with a ruler,after that i wrote decimals,percentages and fractions on the lines

Reflection:I enjoyed writing the decimals,percentages and working fast,but wish to change the fact that i started late with my work from restarting.

Reflection:I enjoyed drawing the blocks but I wish there was a faster way for colouring it in.

WALT:Add decimal fractions and understand place value

The class and I had a budget of $100 dollars to spend on either the warehouse,kmart or rebel sports.Then we went on the site that were chosen and screen shotted the item we chose.Then we added up the items prices and wrote how much dollers were left.



Reflection:I liked searching for iteams to add onto my presentation.I wish I could of added more matierials to shopping.

First we created a background on google drawings then we took a picture and removed the background using remove bg.com.
after that we used funcky letters from the internet.
Then wrote sentences to describe ourselves.



Reflection:I enjoyed looking for funcky letters.My favourite part was taking the photo.
I wish I could make all the letters funcky.

Our new playground!

Introduction:Last week a group called Mangonui Lions helped make a new play ground with fundraisers and gathered more than 6 thousand dollars to help us with our new play ground.

Reflection:Our new adventure park is the best Park ever.

Reflection:I mostly enjoyed  writing information about a famous celebrity.I found it easy to research about Oprah Winfrey. I would like to learn more about Oprah Winfrey's early life.

We went to see the Rainbow Warrior.

We also went to the beach.

There was a course in the forest.

There was a commando course out side.

How the great Rainbow Warrior got bombed

WALT:Write an explanation text.

How the great Rainbow Warrior sunk.

One day 10th of July 1985 on the sea there was a group called Greenpeace and they had a humongous
boat,although it wasn’t the biggest boat it was still big,the boat was called the Rainbow Warrior and this
is how the Rainbow Warrior was bombed.

There were three Secret agents that acted like a tourist and their names were Allain Marfart,Dominique
Prieur and Christine Cabon,Alain Mafart and Dominique Prieur  went under the Rainbow Warrior and
planted two big bombs on the hull of the boat 10 minutes to midnight to stop the french people from
nuclear testing.

The first bomb was the size of a size of a car!and the other was bigger,they did not knowing that
photograph Fernando Prieur they were doing the bombing,Christine Cabon was collecting information
from the Auckland office for Alain mafart and dominique Prieur to tell them where to go.

Some other people found the remains and scuttled it and found out that it was irreparable so they
made it a diving place where divers can go,the spies was punished for 10 years at Hao Atoll.
